Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

On iPhone or iPad, open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Voice Translator → Cancel Subscription. On Android, open the Google Play Store app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Voice Translator → Cancel.

How do I restore a previous purchase?

Open Voice Translator, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase.

How do I delete my account?

Inside the app, open Settings → Delete Account. This calls a server RPC that cascades all rows owned by your user, including your translation history, audio uploads, and scan-translate photos. Some IAP receipts retained by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat for tax/audit reasons are kept per their policies.

Why does a translation sometimes look wrong?

Translations are AI-generated and depend on audio quality, background noise, accent, and context. Try a quieter environment, speak in shorter sentences, or use text mode if the voice result keeps drifting. Do not rely on the app for safety-critical, legal, or medical translation.

How do I contact a human?

Email support@alovate.ai with a description of the issue, your device model and OS version, the language pair you were using, and (if useful) a screenshot. We reply within two business days.
