Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

We want alovate.ai to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard alone, rely on magnification, or need reduced motion. Accessibility is treated as part of building the site rather than as a retrofit.

2. Conformance target

Our target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which is the standard incorporated by Israeli Standard 5568 and the benchmark applied in US ADA practice. We consider the site to be partially conformant: most of the site meets the target, and the exceptions we know about are listed in section 5.

This statement is published in English. If you would prefer it in Hebrew, or need any part of it in another format, email hello@alovate.ai and we will provide it.

3. What we have implemented

• An on-page accessibility panel offering text sizing, contrast adjustment, reduced motion, link highlighting and a readable-font mode. Preferences persist between visits.
• Keyboard operation for interactive controls, with visible focus indicators.
• Semantic landmarks and headings, and a page language declared as English so screen readers use the correct pronunciation.
• Text and interface colours checked against the WCAG AA contrast minimums.
• A cookie consent banner that is keyboard operable and announced, and that does not trap keyboard focus or block access to the page.
• Wide tables that scroll within their own container, so the page itself never scrolls sideways on a phone.

4. How we assessed the site

The assessment behind this statement was a self-assessment carried out by our own team, not an audit by an external body. It consisted of:

• manual keyboard-only navigation of every public page, checking focus order and visible focus;
• screen-reader spot checks using VoiceOver on macOS with Safari;
• automated checks with the accessibility auditing tools built into Chrome DevTools;
• contrast measurement of text and interface colours against the WCAG AA thresholds;
• review at mobile, tablet and desktop widths, and at 200% browser zoom.

We list only what we have actually tested. Combinations that are not named above — including NVDA, JAWS and TalkBack — have not been formally tested by us, which does not mean they do not work. If you use one and hit a problem, section 7 tells you how to reach us, and we treat those reports as bug reports.

5. Known limitations

The following are known to fall short of the target. They come from the self-assessment described in section 4 and from a review of the site’s own code.

• Third-party embeds. The booking calendar is rendered by Cal.com inside an iframe. Its accessibility is determined by Cal.com and is outside our control. Anyone who cannot use it can book by email or phone instead — see section 7.
• Embedded documentation. Some client workspace content is rendered from Notion, whose output we do not control.
• Mixed-language pages. Parts of the site contain Hebrew text inside otherwise English pages. Where a language change is not marked up, a screen reader will read that passage with the wrong pronunciation. We are working through these page by page.
• Motion.The site uses animation on scroll. The accessibility panel offers a reduced-motion setting and we honour the operating system’s reduced-motion preference, but coverage of every animated element has not been verified.

6. Assessment and audit history
